ORLÉANS, ONTARIO – Royal Galipeau, Member of Parliament for Ottawa–Orléans, is pleased to announce the following dates for upcoming Passport clinics:

Furthermore, three additional sessions will take place in fall 2009 on Saturday, October 3, Thursday, October, 15 as well as Monday, November 9. Times and locations will be announced as the dates approach.
“I am very excited to provide this service to our constituents for the third year in a row,” said Royal Galipeau. “My staff and I are committed to service and committed to assisting constituents in apply for their passports.” There will be a photographer onsite to complete the necessary passport photos as well as trained staff to ensure accuracy in the completion of the passport application.
Constituents who are interested in attending one of these clinics are reminded that they MUST bring the following: a valid driver’s license or health card (with home address); an original birth certificate and/or a Canadian Citizenship card; and a guarantor (any person who has known you for at least two years). If a passport applicant cannot be accompanied to the clinic by a guarantor, the guarantor must do three things before an application can be submitted. First, fill and sign the guarantor section of the application form, then sign the back of one of the photos and finally sign photocopy of the applicant’s driver’s license or health card.
It is suggested that in order to expedite the process, applicants first download and complete the application that can be found on Passport Canada`s website at www.passportcanada.gc.ca.
